THE ORIGIN: REALFAST GRAVELWhen gravel riding and gravel bikes were still largely undefined, 3T pioneered a game-changing concept: building a single bike that blends the speed and efficiency of a road bike with the rugged capability to handle off-road terrain.
With our iconic Exploro range, we took aerodynamic research out of the lab and applied it to real-world tire dimensions—creating bikes that deliver exceptional speed not just on smooth asphalt, but also on loose dirt, gravel, and mixed surfaces.
To make this possible, we developed a precise new method for measuring tires:
WAM (Width As Measured) RAM (Radius As Measured) Instead of relying on generic nominal tire sizes, we engineer every frame around the actual width and radius of fully mounted tires. This approach guarantees consistent, reliable performance, perfect fit, and optimized aerodynamics across all your tire setups and riding conditions.

FROM ONE BIKE TO A SYSTEMGravel riding has evolved dramatically — and tire development has been at the heart of that evolution.

Racemax WPNT: Accommodates up to 45 mm WAM with 700c wheels, and up to 61 mm WAM with 650b wheels. The updated Racemax² ITALIA pushes performance further, supporting up to 51 mm WAM on 700c wheels. Extrema ITALIA: Designed for rough, challenging terrain, with clearance for tires up to 57 mm WAM on 700c wheels — delivering maximum traction, stability, and control.
